What I got for Christmas 2014

I love being nosey and seeing what everyone else got for Christmas, it’s great for present inspiration whether it’s for future birthdays or even next Christmas! So I thought I’d join in and write up a little post about a couple of things I got too.

So here we go…

Firstly, I got these beautiful white gold Beaverbrooks studs from my parents. I’ve been wanting some like this for a little while, so it was lovely to be treated to them. They were presented in a lovely Beaverbrooks bag, wrapped in tissue paper, sprinkled with pretty silver star sequins and neatly placed inside a box tied with a bow. Perfect.

I also got given this sweet little Tresemme Ultimate Body & Bounce gift set, featuring volumising shampoo, conditioner, hairspray and a mini paddle brush – which I think is super cute! I thought this would be perfect for my trip to Centre Parcs later this year or any other adventure I end up on… I have naturally straight hair which can look a little flat at times, so this is perfect for me.

Lastly, I wanted to show a couple of fragrances I received from the Marks and Spencer range. (If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen me post these the other day.) These are two of my favourites, New York and Opulance.

New York“This rich sensual feminine fragrance blends top notes of dergamot, gardenia and apricot with heart scents of damask rose, jasmine and warm woods and sensual base notes of velvety musks, creamy sandalwood, vanilla and heliotrope.” Marks and Spencer.

Opulance“A lavish blend of orange and ginger top notes warmed by spicy pepper and exotic orchid. A romantic fragrance that unfolds to reveal luxurious accords of vanilla and vetiver.” Marks and Spencer.

Their fragrances are available in a range of sizes, including these 10ml and 25ml bottles, which are perfect for popping into your handbag or travelling. The M&S range of beauty products are also BUAV approved, which means they’re definitely cruelty free too – awesome! (Click here to find out more about BUAV approved products.)

I was also given lots of other little girlie bits and bobs and a little bit of money. However, here’s the mushy bit…at the end of the day it doesn’t matter what I was given, the most important thing was that I got to spend the Christmas break with my amazing family and friends, which was lovely.

No, honestly, it really is the most important thing……the earrings are nice though.

On a final note, as we head on deeper into New Years Eve, I’d like to wish you all a very happy and prosperous 2015. May your hopes and wishes all come true!

See you on the other side…

Amanda 🙂
