Being someone who’s pretty savvy with her money, I often come up against the battle of heart (I must buy this piece of clothing!) versus head (but urgh, it’s pretty expensive and I could put that money to much better use!). So after weeks of lusting after a £50 khaki bomber jacket that I really wanted, but wasn’t sure if I’d wear enough to justify it… imagine my complete joy when I spotted one just like the one I wanted, but for half the price! …uh huh!
So please give a warm welcome to my new khaki bomber jacket for the amazing price of £25 from F&F at Tesco! Why did I ever think about not having one of these in my life? It’s so versatile and perfect for those slightly chilly days as we head on in to Autumn. With a really soft faux fur lining, it’s super comfortable and has been finished to a great standard.
I was so pleased with the fit too! I’m wearing a size 12 here and sometimes I have to go up a size for jackets to fit nicely on the arms – usually leaving the body of jackets looking a bit too big on me. But hurrah! The arms on this jacket fit perfectly, I’m so pleased!
So what else am I wearing…
My choker, ohh how I’m in love with this choker!! It was £3.99 from New Look (I can’t find it online anymore, but it’s a black leatherette woven style one if you can find it in store!) – the best £3.99 I’ve spent lately. I feel it instantly makes any outfit a little edgier – I love it!
The top was a little £3 bargain from a Miss Selfridge sale earlier this year.
Jeans are by Gok for TU at Sainsburys – just £14 down from £30 in the sale. I’m really pleased with the fit of these jeans, definitely some of the best jeans I’ve bought lately.
Finally, the shoes are my trusty pair of leopard print boots, which were £10 in the sale from H&M. Another beautiful bargain buy!
So go, go, go! And grab this wonderfully priced bomber jacket whilst they’re still available and use the £25 you save (from not buying the £50 one!) to go have some fun!
