The Alpine Village at intu Milton Keynes is looking really festive! Inside you’ll find a bar, the perfect hideaway when you fancy a little break from Christmas shopping. On the outside you’ll find stands selling sweet treats, as well as current fashionable favourite… Yorkshire pudding wraps!
Last Thursday I was invited down to the Alpine Village by intu Milton Keynes for another intu Milton Keynes blogger event. We were treated to deliciously festive drinks (I had a lovely mulled wine) and a little something from the stands outside. I had a waffle cone, which was filled with cream and chocolate buttons. It was so yummy!
Each time an intu Milton Keynes blogger event is held, we’re given a new challenge to complete. This time round, it was all about Christmas gifting! Each of us had a unique challenge and mine was all about stocking fillers. intu Milton Keynes challenged me to find 5 fabulous stocking fillers for under £10.
I absolutely love Christmas and I love giving gifts, so this challenge was right up my street!
So if you’re looking for a little gifting inspiration right now, here are my favourite stocking filler gifts from intu Milton Keynes…
1 – A “for him” stocking filler – Bulldog cracker (£6)
Bulldog is a brilliant cruelty free men’s skincare company. I’ve gifted Bulldog every year for the past few years, so it’s definitely a brand I’d recommend.
In this fun looking cracker you’ll find their “Original Moisturiser”. This is available in Debenhams in their amazing gift section (found upstairs near the homeware). You’ll also find lots of other bits in the Bulldog section too.
2 – A “for her” stocking filler – Burts Bees Lip Balms Tin (£10)
Okay, cheating ever so slightly as this isn’t “under” £10… but for £10 on the dot, I think this is a great gift.
Burts Bees is another brilliant cruelty free brand and I use their lip balms all the time. This one has a selection of three different flavours and I think the tin looks so lovely too!
If you know someone who would love a few bits from Burts Bees, then definitely hunt these down in the Debenhams gifting section, as there’s lots of different sets to choose from in there.
3 – A “for them” stocking filler – Lily O’Brien’s chocolates (£8)
The Debenhams gifting section is sooo good! Honestly, it’s the place you could probably tick off every present you need.
These Lily O’Brien’s chocolates look gifting ready with the gorgeous blue bow. A perfect gift for a couple, or maybe for the friends your visiting for a dinner party over Christmas? Imagine giving this with a bottle of something lovely…
My parents and I always have Lily O’Brien’s chocolates at Christmas, so I can definitely recommend giving these a whirl… even if it’s just a treat to self!
4 – A stocking filler for the Lushies! – Sweet Christmas (£9.95)
Who doesn’t love a bit of Lush? They’re one of my favourite brands hands down and they do such a range of beautiful beauty products and toiletries, and of course, they’re all cruelty free!
This gift set comes in at £9.95 and inside this gorgeously wrapped box you’ll find the Candy Cane bubble bar – a product that you can use several times by crumbling a little bit off each time or holding it under the running water for a moment or two for glorious bubbles in your bath. Candy Cane has a fruity and fresh fragrance, featuring bergamot and Sicilian lemon.
Also included in the box is the Cheery Christmas bath bomb which also features Sicilian lemon alongside blackcurrant-scented buchu oil – sounds lovely! A stunning little gift.
5 – A “foodie” stocking filler – Mrs Bridges preserves set (£7)
I think everyone would be happy receiving this at Christmas, I know I would be. You can’t beat a bit of cheese and chutney with crackers at Christmas can you? Pair it up with a bottle of red and Christmas is complete!
Again, just like the chocolates above, I think this would be a great gift to give alongside a bottle of wine…
There’s a couple of different options to choose from too. I spotted one with lemon curd and another with Scottish raspberry preserve too. They all looked really yummy. Not bad for £7 and again, you can find this in the brilliant gifting section in Debenhams at intu Milton Keynes.
I hope you like my stocking filler choices!
intu Milton Keynes also asked me what “impossible gift” I’m asking for this Christmas. My impossible gift this year is the gift of “time”… honestly, if I could find that under the tree wrapped up and tied with a gorgeous bow, my life would be made. Alas, I doubt Santa is going to bring that to me this year… so the alternative is a gorgeous clock from the homeware section in Debenhams to at least help me manage the time I do have.
How beautiful is this clock? This stunning copper finished clock is a steal at just £25 from Debenhams. I can imagine this suiting a real variety of homes with its simplistic style.
I’d be very happy with this for now until we can figure out how to gift time…
*Thank you to the team at intu Milton Keynes for inviting me down and asking me to share my favourite Christmas stocking fillers. In the interest of transparency, intu Milton Keynes did gift me a gift card in exchange for me sharing my favourite gift ideas, but as always the words, gift choices and opinions are all my own.
